The Last Of Us Part 2 trailer has just dropped and it's got fans excited ahead of its anticipated release. What's more, at the end of the trailer, the release date was finally revealed: February 22nd 2020 is when we'll be able to get our hands on the game.
The Last Of Us won numerous gaming awards when it was released on PS3 back in 2013; the PlayStation exclusive is a zombie apocolypse survival game where players follow the storie of Ellie and Joel as they attempt to find safety. The game was praised for its brillaint story telling, great graphics and addicting game play. The popularity of the game swelled and NaughtyDog (the game's producers) took note: a sequel has been hinted at for a while.
The Last Of Us Part 2 was revealed in 2016 and in 2018 E3 we got to see a sneak peak of the game which showed off Ellie now grown up and still having to take on the bad guys. The latest trailer dropped on 25th September, which reveals that Ellie's problems are not over just yet. Check out the video below:
There are currently four new characters that we know of: Yara, Lev, Emily and an unnamed character. Ellie and Joel both return to the action too, so you won't have to miss your favourite characters in game. And of course, the Clickers are back and likely some new strange monsters too.
The game is set to release in February 2020 and its exclusive to PS4. Not many details about the games online play are known yet, but its probably similar to The Last Of Us which features a third party team deathmatch multiplayer. The game is likely to become the best-selling game of the year in 2020 and you can preorder it now on PlayStation Store.
