Nobuo Uematsu Cancels Latest Concert Due To Continuing Poor Health
The legendary Final Fantasy and Square Enix composer Nobuo Uematsu has announced on his blog that his latest concert is to be cancelled due to his continuing poor health. Nobou announced that the concert on October 7th 2018 is to be cancelled after making the tough decision to focus on his health after continued problems.
Nobuo is famous for tracks from the Final Fantasy series, having produced massive albums of works for games such as Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX and X. He has also produced tracks for tracks for The Last Story, Terra Battle and Super Senso.
Currently, Nobuo is working on the Final Fantasy VII:Remake, which has no known release date as of writing this. Having wrote the original score for FFVII, it will be interesting to see a full-scale rework of the iconic game's soundtrack by its original producer. During Nobuo's concerts, you can see many orchestral arrangements of these songs, including Jenova, To Zanarkand and Bombing Mission.
Hopefully this set back doesn't cause further cancellations to concerts and we wish Nobuo Uematsu a speedy recovery.
